Coastal Vibes is a serene escape — a vacation home designed to dissolve the boundary between the indoors and the vast, calming presence of the sea. The brief asked us to create a retreat that feels as natural and unhurried as the coastline it inhabits. 9M Design Studio responded with a design philosophy rooted in simplicity, lightness, and an effortless connection to nature.
The interior palette draws directly from the coastal environment — bleached timbers, soft driftwood tones, ocean-inspired blues and greens, and the quiet warmth of natural linen and rattan. Every space flows outward: towards the deck, towards the view, towards the horizon. It is a home that breathes — unhurried, uncluttered, and deeply restful.

- Two beautifully appointed bedrooms with breezy, light-filled interiors and sea-view terraces.
- Open-plan living and dining with high ceilings and a natural, uninterrupted flow to the outdoor deck.
- Coastal palette: bleached timber flooring, whitewashed walls, soft ocean blues, and natural woven textures.
- Outdoor deck designed as a living extension — with plunge pool, day bed seating, and fire pit zone.
- Natural materials throughout: rattan, jute, reclaimed timber, and raw stone for authentic coastal character.
- Landscape integration with native coastal plantings, pebble pathways, and driftwood accent features.
